Mrs. J. M. Clarkson
Dallas. Memorial services for Mrs. Jonathan Mash Clarkson, 26, of Dallas daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. William Clarkson III of Corsicana, were to be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Dallas with the Rev. Robert Estill officiating.
Mrs. Clarkson died Sunday morning in Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas after a brief illness.
Graveside services and burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa Tuesday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. William Clarkson IV conducting the services.
Mrs. Clarkson, a native of Burlington, Iowa, graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1973. She married Jonathan M. Clarkson of Corsicana and Dallas on June 29, 1974.
She is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Edward Benson of Burlington, Iowa; her parents-in-law Mr. and Mrs. William Clarkson of Corsicana; two sisters, Mrs. John E. Smith of Atlanta, Ga., and Miss Susan Elizabeth Benson of Dallas, an SMU student; one brother John Paul Benson and her grandmother Mrs. Charles E. McLinn.
Pallbearers for the Dallas services Monday included Leland, White, Nickey Carter, Steve Sasser, John Wooldridge, Ty Willis, William M. Bass and Sam Henry, all of Dallas, Randy Harmon, Memphis, Tenn., Jeff Thrall of Chicago, Ill; and William Bruce Robinson Jr. of Houston.
