Timothy William Hermann, 59, of Cape Coral, FL died on March 9, 2012 at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. He was born on August 4, 1952 in Burlington, IA, a child of Richard Eggleston and Dorothy Rebecca (Rossiter) Hermann.

A Cape Coral resident since 1986, he previously lived in Davenport, IA. Tim worked locally as a salesman in the floor covering industry. He was an avid Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

He, along with the 4 other members of The Macabras, his teenage garage band were to travel to Iowa this September to be inducted into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Tim was the drummer for the band.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Bonita A. “Bonnie” (Boehnke) Hermann, his daughter, Megan Rebecca (Joe) Aring of Taylor Ridge, IL, his stepchildren, Brenda Swan of Cape Coral, FL, Mindy (Justin) Norsworthy of Fort Myers, FL and Justin Daniel (Kim Merritt) Long of Seattle, WA, 7 grandchildren and his brother, Jeffrey Allen (Shelley) Hermann of Springfield, IL.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Susan Gay Bamesberger who died in 2004.

Tim was loved and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
